What is TrustLoop?
TrustLoop is a free membership portal for welding professionals, run by Sigma Laser GmbH. Members earn real rewards through a prize wheel, answer industry surveys that reach the engineers designing new welding systems, and get support from technicians who work with these machines every day.
It is open to anyone who welds professionally — you do not need to own a Sigma Laser machine. Accounts are verified by hand before they are activated, which is why every member is a real person in the trade.

- No serial number or nameplate required
What gets sent back
- A photo of a machine with nobody in it
- A picture pulled from a manufacturer's website or catalogue
- A document so blurred or cropped that the name is unreadable
None of these close your account — you can simply upload something else.
Why we ask. The prizes are real and the surveys genuinely reach our engineers. Checking every member by hand is what keeps both worth having — and it is the only thing standing between this community and a bot farm.

Questions people ask before signing up
Is TrustLoop free to join?
Yes. Membership is free and always has been. There is no subscription, no payment details at signup, and no paid tier — the rewards, surveys and support desk are included for every verified member.
Do I need to own a Sigma Laser machine?
No. TrustLoop is open to welding professionals whatever equipment they run — any brand, any process. If you did buy your machine from Sigma Laser, use the Sigma customer signup instead, because your proof of purchase is verified differently.
What proof do I need to upload?
Either a document showing you work in the welding industry — a welding certification, trade licence, company ID or business registration — or a photo of yourself standing next to any welding machine. One of the two is enough; you do not need both.
Why do you ask for proof at all?
Because the rewards are real and the surveys carry weight with our engineers. Verifying members by hand keeps both meaningful, and keeps the community to people who actually do this work.
How long does verification take?
Usually within one business day. A person reviews every application, so it is not instant. You can sign in at any time to check your status, and you get an email as soon as your account is activated.
What happens if my proof is rejected?
Nothing is lost. Your account stays open and you can upload a clearer photo or a different document as often as you need. The review notes tell you what was missing.
What can I win on the prize wheel?
Prizes change over time and are shown on the wheel before you spin — typically welding consumables, protective equipment, accessories and periodic larger prizes. Odds are set per campaign and exhausted prizes are removed from the wheel rather than left on it.
Can I join from outside Germany?
Yes. Sigma Laser has supplied laser welding systems worldwide since 2005 and TrustLoop is open internationally. The portal is in English; some physical prizes may be limited by what can be shipped to your country.
What do you do with the photo and documents I upload?
They are used to verify your account and nothing else. They are never published, never shown to other members and never sold. You can ask us to delete your account and its documents at any time.
